Work experience
Students in years 10, 11 and 12 are given the opportunity to participate in a work experience placement program.
Work experience is a voluntary program and students are encouraged to participate as an opportunity to test out their career interests, increase their employability skills, to secure casual/part-time work or simply to boost their resume for future employment applications.
Students are responsible for organising their own placement and follow the procedures outlined by the careers adviser, completing all required documentation, to ensure that the school, the employer and the students themselves are covered by the NSW DET insurance indemnity.
